Events

As we begin gearing up for a busy year raising funds for research into neurological brain disorders, we must first take time to give thanks to all of our wonderful friends, in both the corporate and private sector.  Without their support, our programs would not be possible. 

Our fund-raising begins with the MIRA Golf Outing in June. Over 100 golfers swing into action to raise funds for MIRA research grants at The Fortress in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

After the excitement of our Golf Outing, we must recognize the generosity of MIRA Board members, Jackie and Kevin Downey.  They have supported MIRA by hosting a Lobster Bake during the weekend of the Dream Cruise, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to MIRA.  It is a fun filled time, with good food, wonderful company and a prime spot on Woodward to view the Dream Cruise!

The summer passes quickly as we prepare for our premiere fundraising gala in September, the Gold Key Event. We feature a nationally known keynote speaker, lively entertainment, and a golden experience not easily forgotten!

December arrives with the chance to place a 2009 Corvette under your Christmas tree by entering the MIRA Corvette Raffle. 

All in all, an eventful year!
